Founded in 1985 by Mr. Severino Tamburrini, the tourist and cultural association aim to promote all the initiatives directed to increase the tourist movement of Santa Severa (nearby to Rome) with celebrations, competitions, fairs, conferences, trips and excursions to involve the citizens and all those people wich sojourn here, as well as to attract tourists from the world in the solar seaside resorts, rich of etruscan history, to guarantee further trials and to develop the culture-tourism binomial.

Following the presentation of "Santa Severa in the World", happened on the 20^th of April in 2011, at the meeting room of the Archaeological Civic Museum, with the fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Civitavecchia, the project is destined to revalue the resources of the territory (historical-archaeological, naturalistic, eno-gastronomy and artistic-cultural patrimonies). The association intends to relaunch the image of Santa Severa in an international field, so recovering the various monuments, first among the whole archaeological complex of the Castle that suffers the slow consequential decline from the abandonment and from the carelessness, as well as the landscape and environmental beauties as the Regional Natural Reserve of Macchiatonda, rich of runs and naturalistic paths.

It is broadly recognized, as the etruscan territory has an ample multiplicity of tourist (archaeological areas, medieval site, seaside along the thyrrenian coast) where the tourism can assume an excellent role on the front of the creation of wealth and therefore of occupation. Through this project he intends to analyze the actual state of the tourist offer gathering the points of strength and weakness with the purpose to individualize the actions to develop both on the plan of the organization of the territory that on that promotional.

The tourist proposals, all combined and extensible, are:

• "History of Santa Severa" that it allows the tourist to know the place from the prehistory to today;

• "To eat and to drink in Santa Severa" to taste the typical local prelibatezzes from the fished to the wines;

• "The Nature of Santa Severa" that it allows the tourist to visit in Mountain Bike the surrounding natural beauties with walks to horse and trekking;

• "The Nights of Santa Severa" to live the diversion under the stars;

• "The art of Santa Severa" to know the artists and their works, from the prehistoric art to that contemporary with the possibility to participate in the didactic and formative courses;

• "Santa Severa and the Etruscan", an archeologcal itinerary to theme that the knowledge will deepen on the mystery of the ancient people that handed down social and cultural customs to the following Roman emperors, which did proper of it.
